But how about diving inside the water and spending some time in the marine world that exists under the superb urban city?
Singapore proudly houses the largest oceanarium in the world. Located at Sentosa Island and a part of Resorts World Sentosa, the oceanarium is called Marine Life Park. Spread over a huge, 20-acre area, Marine Life Park is an amazing site that provides visitors with a golden opportunity to explore marine life from a stone-throw distance.
Marine Life Park is divided into two parts: S.E.A. Aquarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark.
S.E.A. Aquarium is a huge tank containing 45,000,000 L of water, and it is inhabited by a population of 100,000 of marine animals of countless species. There are 10 different zones in the aquarium and 49 separate habitats. The centerpiece of S.E.A. Aquarium is the 118-foot wide and 27-foot tall viewing panel, which is the largest of its kind in the world and which offers a crystal clear and uninterrupted view of the marine aquarium. You can catch glimpses of oceanic manta rays, giant manta rays, bottlenose dolphins, Japanese spider crabs, scalloped hammerhead sharks and rare species of fish, such as guitarfish and the chambered nautilus.
The Adventure Cove Water Park is an amusement park with water slides, a hydro-magnetic coaster, the Riptide Rocket, the Bluewater Bay wave pool and the great Adventure River, which offers a grand tubing experience. The 2,030-foot long river, considered as one of the laziest in the world, goes through a route with 14 different themed scenes of jungles and grottoes.
If you are planning a family vacation at Singapore, don’t make the mistake of excluding the Marine Life Park from your itinerary, since that will make your trip incomplete.
